Dedicated Post 16 Facilities

The covered ‘street' that runs the length of the school's main building culminates in the Post 16 Centre and reflects progression through the school - literally in the direction of our post 16 facility. Although physically connected to the rest of the building by a bridge and also at ground level, it is a self-contained, dedicated unit. Inside the Centre there is a common room and catering facilities, as well as dedicated post 16 classrooms. Class sizes are large enough to ensure that students learn effectively - both with and from their peers - but small enough to focus on individual needs. The size of classes depends on the subjects chosen. We ensure that the curriculum we offer meets the requests of as many students as possible so that movement between the two North Bristol Post 16 Centre sites is minimised.
