Design Technology KS3 Design Technology

The Key Stage 3 Design Technology curriculum has been created to enable students to develop iterative design skills whilst also reflecting on their designing and making. Students will investigate design, evaluate and modify their ideas and products using methods that reflect those utilised in the design industry. We look to develop problem solving skills, creativity, curiosity and knowledge of the core principles of design.

Students will gain a wide breadth of experience across a multi-disciplined curriculum. This will include resistant materials and textiles workshop practice, test-kitchen experience, design skills including CAD/CAM and health and safety.
