The intention of the KS3 religious studies curriculum is for students to gain a broad understanding of the six major world religions, local faiths in Bristol and ethical issues that are facing modern society. These questions will be framed by three questions that underpin the curriculum:

  • What is the nature of God and why does it matter?
  • How do beliefs motivate actions?
  • Who is a worthy authority and why?
