We are delighted to confirm our continuing collaboration with Bristol Plays Music, BPM, and the provision of extra curricular instrumental and music lessons during the 20/21 academic year.
However, in order to remain Covid secure and maintain the safety and well-being of both tutor and students, these lessons will move online and be delivered remotely by the music tutors. Bristol Plays Music trialled this new approach during the initial Lockdown period with great success, and they have collaborated with us to ensure this valuable service can continue, albeit in a new format.
This new arrangement also supports the measures set out in RGS's Covid Secure Risk Assessment , in order to mitigate the risk of spreading infection. If you have any concerns about the new service, please do contact BPM in the first instance as they will be happy to give details, and how it will work for students. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate Peri music lessons on site during the school day or after school, due to segregation of practice rooms to Year Group Bubble staff and teaching spaces, and the need to maintain an enhanced cleaning regime.
