Safeguarding and Well-being

At Redland Green School we are fully committed to safeguarding our students and enabling them to become:

  • Successful learners who enjoy learning, make progress and achieve
  • Confident individuals who are able to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives
  • Responsible citizens who make a socially and economically positive contribution to society

We ensure that effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support families, children and staff at school. All concerns are dealt with by members of school staff who are trained as 'Designated Child Protection Officers'. Student safety is a high priority for Redland Green School, therefore if you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact one of the Safeguarding Team:

The Safeguarding Team

  • Owen Tiplady (Assistant Headteacher - Post-16) - Deputy DSL
  • Catherine Martin (Well-being Lead) - Deputy DSL
  • Jo Williams (Well-being Lead) - Deputy DSL
  • Sarah Haine (Post-16 Student Services Leader) - Deputy DSL

The safeguarding team can be contacted via the main school switchboard or via the info@redlandgreen.bristol.sch.uk email address, marking emails for the attention of the safeguarding team.

Alternatively, students and parents can report safeguarding concerns via our online reporting service Whisper. These reports can be made anonymously but the more information we receive the more effective can be our response. Whisper can be accessed here
